Layaway payments of at least ten dollars ($10.00) must be made every two weeks. Final payment due within 24 months. Layaway accounts provided to allow our customers to guarantee the price of ordered merchandise. American Freight does not represent to hold the merchandise at the sale location once the account is opened but will guarantee the price. We request a minimum of four weeks’ notice after final payment has been made, prior to pick-up or delivery of your merchandise, to ensure your order is in stock. If you are current on your payments and your merchandise is not available within a four-week period, you will be entitled to a full refund or all layaway payments. No refunds are issued after 10 days from the initial layaway except as provided above. After 6 months all delinquent layaway accounts are subject to a service charge of ten percent (10%) of the deposit amount to bear the expenses of the layaway program and its administration. NO MERCHANDISE WILL BE REMOVED FROM INVENTORY UNTIL YOU HAVE MADE YOUR FINAL PAYMENT ON THAT SALE.
