Being convertible to duct-free ventilation allows the downdraft cooktop to be placed nearly anywhere in the kitchen using a duct-free conversion kit. The duct-free kit is not included.

A 6 Even-Heat™ element with melt setting combines the benefits of Even-Heat™ Technology with a dedicated setting that reaches the low temperatures needed to melt chocolate or butter without scorching. A double-ring element is perfect for your 12 or 9 cookware. The 8 round element heats a commonly used pan size and can reach a power output of up to 1800 Watts for everyday use. The 6 round element can reach a power output of up to 1200 Watts to handle your daily cooking needs.

The CookShield Finish protects the cooktop surface from scratches, helping keep it looking pristine even with frequent use. This cooktop features Downdraft Ventilation which integrates the ventilation system into the cooking surface so that a separate vent hood is not needed. Smoke and odors can be removed and taken outside or filtered and recirculated inside. The convertible design lets you place your cooktop nearly anywhere in the kitchen using a duct-free conversion kit (not included). This filters and recirculates the air without running ductwork, ideal for kitchens with installation restrictions or ducting limitations. The 300 CFM exhaust rating will handle venting with high temperature cooking techniques like pan searing and stir-frying. A 3-speed fan control can be precisely matched to your cooking needs, effectively removing steam, grease and odors from the air.

Professional Quality
Electronic Ignition lights the burners with an electric spark instead of a pilot light. If the flame is blown out, the burners automatically relight. Stainless steel knobs give your cooktop and kitchen a sleeker look. Full-width cast-iron grates not only look great, but also let you easily move pots and pans around the cooking surface. The LP conversion kit lets you convert the cooktop so it can be used with LP gas.
